Andy Hayward is a puppeteer and puppet designer whose professional experience in the world of film, television and theatrical puppetry spans over ten years. Andy has performed Muppet characters in Sesame Street productions such as Elmo's Christmas Countdown, Kids' Favorite Country Songs, The Get Healthy Now Show and The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Andy also served as a puppet specialist for Disney and was a featured performer in stage productions of Playhouse Disney Live and Disney's Ugly Bug Ball. Other film and television credits include The Money Mammals, The Cousins' Club, Head of the Household, Igby's Day Off and Disney's Golden Screams. Andy's work in the field of puppet design and fabrication began with Vee Corporation's Costumes & Creatures Workshop, where he participated in the construction and refurbishment of familiar Muppet characters for Sesame Street Live and Bear in the Big Blue House Live. Additionally, Andy assisted with characters for corporate clients including Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, Disney, General Mills, Discovery Network, Sesame Workshop and The Jim Henson Company. Independently, Andy has created puppet characters for personal clients such as Roman Coppola Studio, Kidney Health Australia, West Advertising, TJ3 Productions, David C. Cook Publishing, California State Parks, Second City, BMI Musical Theater Workshop, Pulp Gamer, Transylvania Television, Easy Peasy, Eco For Kids Boom Chick-a Boom, and dozens of additional performers and productions worldwide.
